After 23 years of flying with Qantas

After 23 years of flying with Qantas I used one of my three Qantas business class tickets I had , they charged me $2000 extra to use it which I understand but when I asked to change it for departure 3 days later I was told it will be another $2000 , so I booked Cathy pacific for next flight to japan . And I’m a platinum member for what’s worth NOTHING
