Baggage Handling Nightmare and story after story from support Agents

I flew from Columbus Ohio to Sydney Australia on Polaris Business Class, scheduled to fly on December 25, 2022 but after several delays with little problem with weather and major problem with United Airlines mishandling, I reached Sydney on the 30th without Baggage. I am travelling for 2 months but my bag did not arrive. To my surprise my bag was returned to Columbus Ohio. The agent told my wife that they can not send the bag to Sydney without the passenger. The surprising think is I checked with agents and baggage office in Houston (IAH). Both assured me the bag will be coming in the same flight. United expects me to travel without bag for 2 months.
