Unprofessional recruitment process. This company in Brisbane had convinced someone that he was the only candidate after a long recruitment process and would get the position he applied unless he refused the offer, had to give 2 professional references. Already contacted and asked the references to fill the form about the candidate. In this senior position he applied, he gave the more senior references he could. He prepared and did everything including the tests, got 2 users interviews, and in his very busy time had to spare time to prepare and do the interviews. Then the HR said that all the test results were very good, very positive, including the references but had to reject him because they just didn't need new people, just realised that they just need restructuration. What a heart breaking process. Please do a smart recruitment process next time.
