Poor customer service

The level of customer service on Saturday was very poor. I had a gift which I wanted to exchange in a different colour, to be told, the city store only had black. (A colour i didn't care for). The store attendant did very little to assist beyond telling me I could go to Chadstone or Southland! (Or look online).
I asked her when there may be stock in the city store, to be told mid January but she didn't know what it may included.
To my mind this was a very poor experience given the cost of the merchandise I was looking to exchange.
When I asked her about the 30 day period for exchange which was only days away (she said all gifts had an automatic extension until 31 Jan). My receipt had only the mention of 30 days from purchase, so I asked her if she could put this into writing, at which time she proceeded to begin an email to me. I suggested she take my email address and complete the email in her time while letting me go as I had my partner in the car waiting outside.
Overall, a really lack lustre experience, where I
would be loathed to recommend this store.
