Each year I have looked forward to the Myer One VIP Christmas event and have always enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, this year Myer (Southland) didn’t live up to my expectations. Despite them advertising entertainment and refreshments, there was only a DJ playing music of his choice - definitely no Christmas themed music at all. Cans of soft drink were available but not the usual cakes, cookies, drinks, chocolates or a tote bag etc and most of the sale items have been on sale already. It would have been nice to have been greeted at the door with a drink, cookie, cake or chocolate. I missed the Christmas spirit.
