I paid for an item using my Barclay's

I paid for an item using my Barclay's debit card. I didn't receive the item after a month. I tried to contact the merchant without any joy. I phoned Barclays to make a dispute. They said I have to wait over 2 months before I could receive my money back. They would not let me make a complaint about this either. Absolutely shocking level of service. Thinking about closing my account as I am put off with Barclay's so called policies regarding disputes. Making someone wait over two months for a refund is unacceptable.
