I called CUA to request a clearance certificate as I cancelled my extra's and asked for it to be emailed to my new provider and a copy sent to me. I was told it will take up to two weeks due to the backlog of requests, obviously they've received quite a number of cancellation requests. I requested the same with Westfund for my hospital cover and received the clearance certificate an hour later. Poor service CUA.
