After my first visit, at Ipswich, I found the food and service extremely substandard. When I mentioned the warm, limp salad to the staff, they were very disinterested and merely shrugged their shoulders. I said I'd never return.
Fast forward a couple of years, I'm talked into giving HB a second go, at Aspley. The service was polite and efficient, but the experience was let down by the food. A very ordinary pub meal at five star restaurant prices. The portions were small for the exorbitant prices.
I've had better food, for a little over half the price, at the Breakfast Creek pub.
Hog's Breath, you won't be getting a third chance.
