Flip 4 screen damage

Had a Z Flip 4 for 4 months. Crack appeared in middle of screen around hinge. From reading around sounds like a common problem with these phones. Phone has not been dropped or damaged in any way. Samsung refused to repair under warranty and wanted £400 for a replacement screen. Fortunately I have Samsung Care+ so can get this covered, but I have to pay £99 excess. Flip phones look nice but they're incredibly flimsy and not really fit for purpose. Avoid.
