Almost took 4 months

It took almost 4 months to complete a SWIFT transfer. A SWIFT transfer was initiated on June 1st. Then I had to chase Citi every single week, because the funds didn't reach the destination account. Citi didn't bother to provide any relevant information. All I was getting was a generic replies like "We're actively working on it" and that's it. I received the first relevant email on August 26th and apparently they were reviewing/holding this transaction all this time. Then it took almost another month to finally transfer the funds. It literally took seconds to transfer funds through another service. Closing my 9 year old account and not looking back.
